Imagine you are on a white sand beach. You feel both enlivened and relaxed from the yoga and meditation class that you just enjoyed. Now you are ready for some serious R and R. You've got this paradise practically to yourself! It's so peaceful here. You are reclining on a beach chair, just kicking back and taking it all in. There is a gentle breeze, and the temperature is just right. In front of you are the stunning turquoise waters of the Caribbean. You are awed by the exquisite blue of the ocean. Gulls and pelicans lazily fly overhead along the shore line as you drift even deeper into a relaxed state.

Ahh... It feels so good to just to lie back and unwind.

If you like to swim, you slip into those perfect waters and enjoy the silky buoyancy. It's a calm day, so you see the white sand of the ocean floor through the waters. While you are in the water, you might be treated to your own personal National Geographic moment... you see beautiful brightly colored tropical fish swim by that amaze and delight you.

After your rest and swim, you dry off and head to the deck, where you enjoy a lovely meal with interesting new friends. The deck over looks a national wildlife preserve. From where you are sitting you can see jungles that are home to exotic birds as well as North American birds that are also on vacation here in Mexico. A little farther off you can see the lagoon which you'll be kayaking in later in the afternoon.

After your kayaking adventure and lazy float down a river, you have another wonderful meal, and then it's off to the retreat palapa for an incredible evening of group activities that both intrigue and transform you in ways that make you feel more alive and more excited about life than ever. Later that night, you feel your self being lulled off to sleep by the sounds of surf in the background. You smile, and think to yourself, "Hey! This is only the first day in paradise! Now THIS is LIVING!

My name is Sylvia Brallier, and I'll be your guide on this re-creation adventure.

I know this incredible place pretty well, and can offer you the best of what this area has to offer you. I've been doing this so long, I know what to DO and what NOT to do, which is a huge advantage that can be the difference between a great vacation and a lousy one. However, my greatest strength is my ability to offer you a safe space to dive deeply into the hidden reservoirs within and come out refreshed and ready to step into your life in a new way that is more joyful and deeply aligned with your soul's purpose. I want that for you, and I hope you will accept my invitation to come home to yourself in paradise.

"As an event producer and leader of retreats, I was thrilled to be able to join Sylvia for a week in Mexico. Sure enough, she exceeded all my expectations. With her solid knowledge of the material, her connections with fantastic local experts, her exquisite sense of timing, and a beautiful balance of activities, Sylvia led us gracefully through wondrous inner and outer landscapes. This is the real thing. If you're looking to connect deeply with authentic sources of healing and re-align with your highest purpose, Sylvia offers a magical, soulful, and enlivening opportunity."

Dear Sylvia,
Thank you for your organization...you took such good care of us all. All the earthly technical details were taken care of so well by you that I needed not worry and therefore my spiritual evolution could take place. Your heart and spirit is the magical glue that made the intention for the group and individual work so powerful. All the Mayan astrological and calendar info was a very powerful "container" for the work I did. Thank you for finding the most amazing location. The ruins were incredible and great teachers. The ocean healed and cleansed me. The sunrise every morning over the water was a catalyst for the spiritual work I did everyday. There are no words to describe how much those sessions with the healers meant to me. And lastly ... I give muchas thanks for all the support you offered me that helped intensify my spiritual evolution. With your support and insight into my "work" I had a huge life altering shift in my being. Than you for believing in me and really "seeing" me. I am thankful for all the wisdom and love you share so willingly.

More Testimonials from past retreats:

"
One of the high points of the trip for me was the visit with Maria, the healer who gave us the energy cleansing. Her diagnostic accuracy on the physical, emotional and spiritual level was incredible! She followed up with healing remedies when appropriate, life style suggestions and recommendations for botanicals to help maintain our health. Her wonderful sense of humor was accompanied with incredible compassion."

"This will honor my commitment to respond to your request for some "feedback" on our individual experiences during our expedition into the Yucatan. In order to avoid any possible "new age" or "PC" responses, I have instead opted to be absolutely candid and unwavering in my judgment of the time that we spent. I have elected to compose, expose, and quantify these truths in the form of a single complaint list as will follow. It is my hope that you properly accept full responsibility for my negative experiences as you initially proposed this journey, and further that as the coordinator, you are the most natural person to complain to. My complaint list is as follows without further mincing of words;

1. Through some Mayan curse, and through no fault of my own whatsoever, I have returned 5 lbs. heavier than I left. In short I have gained weight and developed a taste for a delicious cuisine that I have not been able to recreate within the confines of my poor kitchen with the inherent limitations of my current set of culinary skills.

2. I am no longer satisfied to inhabit a domicile that is painted in a "neutral" manner as is presently the case. I fear that my newly acquired tastes for boldness in the expression of certain hues may be disturbing to not only my neighbors, but even possibly to the casual passerby.

3. I have developed a penchant, a "Jones", to take leisurely walks with my Significant Other upon white sand beaches lapped by gentle waves in the starlight. Where do I get a fix for that? Is going cold turkey the best way out of this syndrome?

4. With only the two of us at the dinner table, I now am deprived from the greater tribal, communal dining experience where the events of the day were shared freely between one another, thus allowing me the leveraged pleasures of vicarious bliss.

5. I am now expected to perform actual work and cleaning duties which I was much happier to have abandoned in favor of a more carefree approach to the day which I had just so recently adopted.

6. I sense that I am now expected to actually wear clothes when in public, which has created a personal hardship for me, and further, it has been my observation that far fewer people that I encounter during the day just embrace me or rub my back.

7. My current destinations now seem boring. Places like gas stations and grocery stores do not compare in the slightest to the preparation and journey to temples, pyramids, cenotes, and healers.

I intend to warn others of these pitfalls so that I am not so alone in my recounted miseries.

P.S. - When can I put myself through it all again?"
